Description of Service
MileSync automatically detects and records driving trips, allows you to classify trips as Business or Personal, and generates mileage reports intended to support tax preparation and reimbursement documentation. MileSync helps you maintain organized mileage records that support IRS mileage documentation requirements — but you remain solely responsible for ensuring your records meet your individual tax or reimbursement obligations. MileSync is not a substitute for professional tax or legal advice.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Free & Premium Plans
MileSync offers a Free plan and a Premium subscription plan. Premium is currently available at $6.99 USD per month or $69.99 USD per year, and unlocks features such as interactive route maps, unlimited trip history, and advanced reporting. Pricing is subject to change; any changes will be communicated in advance where required by law or app store policy.
Billing & Cancellation
Premium subscriptions are billed and processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, and are subject to those platforms' respective terms and payment policies. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can cancel at any time through your Google Play or App Store account; your Premium features remain available until the end of the period you've already paid for. If your subscription lapses, your account remains active on the Free plan and your existing data is retained.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Reverse engineer or misuse the Service beyond its intended purpose
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by MileSync and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimers
Trip detection and mileage tracking rely on your device's GPS and motion sensors; actual accuracy may vary depending on device settings and GPS availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MileSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on generated mileage reports for tax or reimbursement purposes.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
